I stopped at La Catrachita with family and enjoyed the people, food, & drinks. The birria with consommé were flavorful. The portion sizes were outstanding as well. Ordering the Cubana torta made it so I had lunch for the next day! I look forward to bringing friends around and enjoy more from their menu!

Had al pastor tacos, they were awesome! I always worry that three tacos won't be enough food, so I got a side of cactus just in case — they were very filling and I didn't need to order sides, though I'm glad I did. The picture only shows two because I ate one before I took the photo because I was starving. In short, average prices, great food. Will be back!

Two attempts via Uber Eats to get our order of quesabirria and birria ramen but IT WAS WORTH IT! This has to be the best quesabirria I've ever had. The ramen exceeded expectations. And the salsa verde is fire. 10/10. Worth every penny! Will definitely be going here again next time we're in Philly.

I'm a Chicano who lived most of my life in East LA/SoCal, so growing up all I ate was Mexican food. Since moving to Philly, this has been my favorite Mexican takeout. It would honestly feel just at home back in California. Everything about it feels so nostalgic and reminds me of being back home. The only criticism I have is that I wish it was closer to me lol, but it's still in my top 3 food places in Philadelphia. Josselin/Jocelyn at the front desk is also very nice! I always recommend this place to anyone looking for some great Mexican food.

Absolutely loved the menu options — so much to pick from! My favorites were my order of quesabirrias and my boyfriend got the cheesy ramen. Turn around time for food was reasonable, and it was absolutely delicious!
